Darien Lake Physics Day
Monday, May 19th, 2014
7:50 a.m. – Students should arrive at the CTE center.
8:00 a.m. – Busses depart CTE center. N.B. – The busses will depart at exactly 8:00 a.m., with or without you.
10:30 a.m. – Busses arrive at Darien Lake. Tickets are issued to students.
12:00 to 2:00 p.m. – Lunch available at the pavilion located near the Superman rollercoaster.
3:30 p.m. – Busses depart Darien Lake
6:00 p.m. – Busses arrive at CTE center
Contact information: If you need to contact Mr. Syracuse at any point throughout the day, you may do so by calling the Science Hotline: 607-699-1MrS (699-1677).
Important information:
Lunch: Lunch will be available from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the pavilion area. You may eat once during this time period. Your ticket has a tab on it that you must present in order to be served.
Personal Belongings: Any personal belongings that you bring are your responsibility. Phones, cameras, iPods, etc. are fun, but don’t bring them if you are worried that you'll loose them.
Money: Admission to the park and lunch are provided. If you choose to bring money for other activities, viz. games or snacks, you may do so.
Behavior: You will be expected to be on your best behavior throughout the entire trip. The TST BOCES Code of Conduct applies on field trips just as it does on campus. In addition to repercussions at school, you may be subject to action by park security or local authorities.
First Aid: EMTs are located near the entrance to the Viper rollercoaster. Please let Mr. Syracuse know if you are in need of medical attention.
