You can check your grades online! Simply go to www.mygradebook.com and enter your classword and individual password. If you have forgotten either of these things, e-mail Mr. Syracuse. Parents or guardians, talk to you student to get their login information so that you can keep yourself up-to-date on what's going on in our classroom.
Mr. Syracuse graduated from Williamsville North High School in Williamsville, NY in 2002. While there, he played JV soccer for one year, during which his team's record was 1-15. This was the first clue that perhaps he should become a scientist. He also gained lots of experience on North's stage crew. He played percussion in the Wind Ensemble and several local community groups.
His education continued at Ithaca College where he completed a major in Biology Education and a minor in French and the Humanities and Sciences Honors Program. He graduated magna cum laude in 2006. He began teaching at Groton High School during that year, and in 2007 began his Master's degree at SUNY Cortland. He completed his degree in 2009 and graduated with a M.S.Ed. in Biology Education. He currently likes the sound of "Dr. Syracuse," but has neither the time nor the money to persue that degree at the moment.
In his spare time, Mr. Syracuse likes to blow things up, play the pipe organ or watch The Big Bang Theory and secretly wish he'd majored in physics instead.
